Afternoon: Independence Square and Center for Arts and Culture

  1. We drive to Independence Square, which is a short distance from the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum.
  2. Spend time exploring Independence Square and the Black Star Gate.
  3. Visit the Center for National Culture (Arts Centre), which is near Independence Square, and browse through traditional Ghanaian crafts and art.

Late Afternoon: Ghana National Mosque

  1. Head to the Ghana National Mosque, which is about a 20-minute drive from Independence Square.
