3days Multi Region Tour

This tour takes you to the bono region of Ghana.  The region is known for its rich cultural heritage, diverse natural resources, and vibrant communities. The region boasts stunning natural landscapes, rolling hills, forests, and rivers. The region boasts of picturesque waterfalls, hiking trails and eco-tourism sites. This tour offers the tourist to experience culturally diverse regions, stunning landscapes, and an authentic Ghanaian experience outside the capital Accra. The tour journeys through Eastern region, Ashanti region and Bono region.

Day 1:

Tini Falls, this beautiful waterfall is also known as Adasawase waterfalls. This beauty cascades majestically over several rocks. It is one of the largest waterfalls in Ghana. The waterfall is surrounded by virgin forest, caves, and rocks. It is indeed a natural beauty with clean and cold water which is the source of drinking water for the village.

Abetifi Stone Age Park

A unique park known to be one of the oldest caves in Ghana inhabited by the Kwahu people. This park has a lot of rich cultural history and boasts of a museum with artifacts from the stone age era.

Bruku Rock located in the Kwahu area is a beautiful rock attraction. The myth about the rock’s formation adds an interesting dimension to its history. This site is sacred and the view from the summit is breathtaking and truly a stunning sight.

Butuase Falls, this natural attraction, is beautiful and refreshing. The cascading pools nicknamed jacuzzi promises a relaxing wash down.  A cut through space located in the rock is a great spot for relaxation. A must visit destination for nature lovers.

Day 2: A Full Day:

Your journey continues at the Tanoboase rock and sacred grove in Techiman. This site holds great historical, spiritual, and cultural significance. The site is believed to be the traditional home of all Bono people. The caves once served as hideouts during the slave trade and inter-tribal wars. A valuable site that played a vital role in the history and culture of the region.

Bono manso slave market one of our stops holds a poignant place in the history of the slave trade in Ghana. Slaves were graded and sorted based on their physical strength with the strongest continuing their journey down south to the coast to sail to the Americas while the weaker slaves remained in the town. Some of the trees to which slaves were tethered still stand at this ancient slave market.

Bono manso waterfalls offers a distinctive experience compared to other waterfalls. It has its own character and charm, believed by the locals to be a python river with spiritual significance.

Boabeng fiema monkey sanctuary is a unique destination, hosting sacred monkeys that are protected by the local community. The black and white silky colobus and brown mona monkeys are considered sacred. The locals believe it holds cultural and spiritual significance.

Buoyem sacred grove is a three- sided encirclement, by cliffs and hills. You will be enchanted by the breathtaking natural scenery. A unique rock formation resembling an umbrella is one of the interesting rocks at this site. Bibiri waterfalls is a few meters away from the caves. These rocks are sacred to the locals and have historical significance as they served as hideouts in the 18th century.

Day 3: A Full Day:

The tour continues with the first stop being Mim Bour, a captivating group of three peaks rising from the otherwise undulating countryside. The tallest of the Mim Bour is considered the father while the other two are referred to as the mother and child. This site’s rich history and stunning landscape make it a unique and culturally significant destination.

Our next stop is the Bobiri forest reserve and butterfly sanctuary. This gem offers a delightful ecotourism experience. Explore the forest with its wide variety of birds, massive trees, and a garden with over 400 butterflies. The oldest tree in the sanctuary which is over 300 years old is the largest tree and requires 24 adults joining hands to encompass.

We journey back to Accra after the adventures, leaving behind our footprints and bringing with us to Accra memories to last a lifetime.
